The Universty Moulay Ismail has more than one campus for teaching, and its main campus is in Meknes, and the second, or branch campus, is located in Errachidia. In addition, various languages are used to teach students here, the main two languages being (1) French (Francais) and (2) Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic and Moroccan Arabic / Darija).
In addition, English, German (Allemande), Amazigh (Tamazigh), Tamazight (Berber) etc. are also taught here. Moulay Ismail University Campus
UMI has been developing rapidly since its establishment in 1989. UMI’s main campus is located at BP 298, Marjan 2, in Meknes. UMI’s main campus is spread over a large area, which houses several schools and faculties.
In addition to the main campus, UMI also branch campuses in Errachidia and Khenifra, Morocco. Among these campuses, the Errachidia campus is surrounded by the desert and the High Atlas Mountains.
As a result, UMI is currently providing a wide range of facilities to its 64,200 – 81,300 students at its main campus and its branch campuses to reach the higher frontier of success.

UMI also encourages its sudents to participate in all kinds of sports. UMI has a high technology school on its Khenifra campus, as well as a Faculty of Technology and Science (FST) and a Multidisciplinary Faculty (FP) on its Irakidia campus, where PhD access, thesis work, etc. are offered.
In Meknes, it also offers master’s degrees and higher doctorate degrees, as well as doctoral training under the school in the faculties of FSJES, FSM, FLSH, etc. To actively encourage students in each faculty and school of the university to participate in various sports, cultural and social activities, UMI organizes a sports league (Ligue regionale des sports universitaires) for students.
This sports league of UMI is managed under the Moroccan Royal Federation of University Sports. We know that there are more than 54 laboratories and more than 235 research groups operating in various faculties and schools of the university to carry out the research infrastructure.
